RWBY Review

RWBY is an anime webseries by Rooster Teeth. Here's my thoughts:

Fight scenes? BEAUTIFUL. Just LOVELY. Though, there are only two episodes focusing on combat, which is dissapointing.

The characters are pretty cool. I personally like the relationship between Ren and Nora. She's sugar high 24/7, yet Ren puts up with it. Yet, Nora does listen to Ren if he called her attention. It's the opposites attract thing put to perfection.

I would say I feel neutral about Yang. I've only seen season 1, so I haven't seen any episode really about her. Also, if she's Ruby's sister, why does she have a different surname. Unless she is adopted of course. But her name sounds more like Ren's long lost cousin. Yang Xiao Long.

Also, when she gets in her angry, red eye state, it was because:

1.) She is freaking out

2.) Her hair gets cut...

Like are you serious? That hair is full and good, but my oh my, you'll live without a strand, Yang! Humans shed a LOT of hair every day. What I would think is awesome when she goes into her angry mode is if the creatures of Grimm hurt Ruby or her teammates, projecting it more that she is loyal, a good trait.

Blake's traits are nice too. Instead of heading for the totally uninterested emo, Rooster Teeth made her more of just a quiet bibliophile. She does have emotions, great! She is awesome too!

Weiss is cool. She really redeems herself in the last episode of season 1 because she accepts Blake to the point where she does not want to hear any of it. Her weapon looks awesome, and it somewhat fits with her aristocracy behavior. I think this because it's like a fencing sword, don't question my logic. She's like Sakuya from Hatoful Boyfriend, except a girl and probably German (Weiss is white in German I think)

Overall, I like this series so far. Wish there were more fight episodes, but that's about it.
