Sanrio, I have a simple question for you my chaps. Simple yet complex.

Why has this not come up before?

That's it, Sanrio. If Hello Kitty, one of the most loved and iconic cute characters around, why have you suddenly brought this up.

For me, there is no silver lining at all.

If this is supposed to be some kind of reveal, it's utterly disgusting. We, as girls who watched the old Hello Kitty, don't care one bit about looking into the darkest depths below the cute show following a little cat girl. We just watch, okay?

Why does this come up suddenly. No hints gone public, no clever references, no nothing!

I'm sure alot of people are in shock. Wow. Just wow. Sanrio, let us bring out the ancient slow clap machine.
